Happy Saturday!
We’re closing out June with our second Whatcha Reading. Here’s what we’re reading right now:
Sarah: I am about to start the audiobook of My Lady Jane ( A | BN | K | G | AB ) because the trailer looked heckin sumptuous and I am very curious.
Lara: I’ve wrapped up G A Aiken’s dragon series and I’m currently rereading her Scarred Earth series. Once this cross-country move is over, I’ll hopefully have the bandwidth for new-to-me books!
Elyse: I’m reading Seasick by Kristin Cast and Pintip Dunn. ( A | BN | K | AB ) It’s a YA thriller kind of like Gossip Girl meets Below Deck but with murder
Shana: I’ve been having trouble reading lately, but I finished Just Playing House by Farah Heron ( A | BN | K | AB ) last week and it was fantastic.
Elyse: I haven’t finished a book in a month. I feel you.
Shana: It’s rough….my reading tracker is an overflowing graveyard of DNF.
Tara: I’m reading One and Done by Frederick Smith. It’s the second book I’ve read from him, and I’m really enjoying it.
Shana: Oh, I just bought One and Done and now I’m excited to read it next!
Tara: It’s been a while since I’ve read a romance set in higher ed and it’s so good.
Claudia: I’ve just started The Mistress Experience by Scarlett Peckham. ( A | BN | K | AB ) I believe it’s out in a few days.
Susan: I started Rebekah Weatherspoon’s Rafe because I was so ready for high-quality fluff. So far it’s perfect and I love everyone.
