When it comes to home styling in the spring, most people think of light, airy pastel color palettes. But since I love a moody, modern, traditional vibe, I’m always searching for decor with the whimsy of spring—but with added sophistication. I spotted this tea kettle from Wayfair and ordered it on the spot. That romantic, elevated pattern is already a bright spot in the depths of mid-winter. The other piece that caught my eye was this gorgeous ruffled bedspread in green ochre. It’s so fresh and fun in Faye’s room!

A spring refresh doesn’t have to include a complete renovation or restyling. Sometimes it’s about finding that one thing that makes everything feel new again. I’m wholly obsessed with chartreuse this season — and I’m loving pops of poppy red like this striped lamp I added to Greta’s room. I’m also leaning heavy into stripes — nautical and otherwise. I’m loving the warm wood tones of the console table below and the undulating modern lines of the sconce and lamp. Where do I find a spot for that vintage trunk coffee table?? It’s just beyond special and totally fits into the vintage Ralph Lauren-inspired aesthetic that has my heart right now.

I’ve been eyeing grandfather clocks for our living room, and this one just might be it. I’ve loved the idea of a grandfather clock for ages, but thought of them as a little too heavy and antiquated.
